The 1st Mister Bear International Competition will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from April 10-13, 2024. The contest is inclusive of all genders who are over 20 years of age (see eligibility requirements below by title). Applicants for Mister Bear International must have been officially selected by the country license holder or approved by the mother organization to be eligible to compete.

Note About Gender Eligibility: Mister Bear International is open to contestants identifying as male. All contestants will be required to complete the following tasks to be eligible to compete in the contest:

Complete the online contest application.

II.

Have outfits ready for the day's activities and the night of the contest. Contest categories consist of the following:

• Formal Wear (For final competition)

• National Costume (For national costume competition)

• Swim Wear (Black or white, for promo VDO shooting)

• Sport Wear (For sport activity)

• Formal Shoes or Leather Shoes (Black, brown or dark brown)

• Sneakers (White)

• Smart Casual (White shirt and jeans, for dinner on cruise)

• White Shorts 

• Black Shorts

• Casual Wear for Activity Rehearsal

• Your Hot Underwear (Jockstrap is recommended) 

• Something WOW (For post-competition for party)

NOTE: Showing genitalia is prohibited on stage during the competition.

Participants MUST check-in at the hotel by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, to be eligible to participate in the contest. There will be a brief orientation on Wednesday evening to discuss more information for all contestants.

IV.

Contestants will be required to participate in pre-competition activities, final competition show rehearsal, photo & VDO shooting for sponsors, and the Bangkok Twilight Pool Party. For the post-competition party, Bearism, each contestant will receive a free entry pass (not required to join).

Contestants must adhere to all rules & regulations associated with the Mister Bear International Competition.

If you are the winner of the 2024 Mister Bear Competition, you agree to represent Mister Bear International and the Bear Community in a positive manner for (1) full year in events in your area, and/or abroad, including (but not limited to) state & local Pride events, future Mister Bear International competitions, and bear/non-bear LGBTQ+ activities in the contestant's home areas. The winner would also be asked to return to the 2025 or next Mister Bear International competition to assist in next year's contest. In addition to the cash prize, the winner will receive a free pass to next year's event and other prizes.
